GSMD FC 3 – 2 RAM FC

After a hard-fought 3-2 win over title challengers @ram__fc , @gsmd_football were crowned winners of the 21-22 ALCOPA Football League!

Knowing that only a win would secure the title (due to RAM FC having a better goal difference), the team went in at half-time, all honours even at 1-1. The goal provided by one of our players of the season, @dan_buxton99, with a juicy top bins finish ⚽️

After HT, striker @tom.mah0ney slotted home a beautiful 1-1 after a stunning through pass. As the game neared its end, captain fantastic, the man who’s dragged this team from the dregs of the league to the very top, our very own Stevie G, Mr @adamquilter volleyed home goal number 3 from inside the box, slotted beautifully like a jigsaw, into the bottom corner 🔥

In the dying embers of the game, RAM FC fought back with a singular goal, but alas, this was not enough to beat our very own mentality monsters, and Guildhall FC defended until the dying end to secure the title decider at 3-2! ⚽️

MOTM was given to our man at the top, striker @tom.mah0ney but special mentions also go out to @dan_buxton99 and @adamquilter 🙌

The team are now unbeaten for over 3 years, madness 🔥
